general terms
These general terms and conditions (the ”General Conditions”) apply when you as a consumer (the ”Customer”) place an order via www.diyti.com and related pages, (the ”Website”). The agreement is concluded between you and DIYTI AB, organization number 559181-1046 (”DIYTI”).

DIYTI reserves the right to make price changes, final sales, and possible factual errors stated on our site or in our ads. Factual errors can refer to but are not limited to, possible price errors, product descriptions, and incorrect stock balance. DIYTI reserves the right to change, at any time, General Terms and Conditions, prices, assortment, descriptions, and images on the website.
ORDERS
Orders of DIYTI’s collections shall be made through the webshop. Inquiries for custom made textile products from the web page are not defined as an order.
When you click on the purchase button, you enter a contract with DIYTI AB. Immediately after you have placed your order, an order confirmation is sent to your e-mail. It is important that you check that the order confirmation is correct. If you do not receive order confirmation, if it is incorrect in some way or if you wish to change your order, we kindly ask you to contact us immediately at info@diyti.com.
To simplify any contacts with our Customer Service, we recommend that you have the order confirmation available in contacts with us.
A purchase agreement is entered into when DIYTI confirms the order by sending an order confirmation via email. The order confirmation is sent to the email address specified by the customer when placing the order. The order confirmation should be saved for any contact with the DIYTI customer service department or others within the organization.
To purchase at DIYTI.com you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid credit card that we accept. If you are not 18 years old, you may still purchase if you have obtained your guardian’s consent and/or otherwise have a legal right to enter a purchase.
Purchase orders from Countries not included among those displayed in our Delivery Information section cannot be accepted by DIYTI.
CUSTOM MADE ORDERS
DIYTI is responsible for forwarding customer inquiries from the website for custom made products, made with DIYTI fabrics to DIYTI authorized sewing partners. You as a customer enter a separate contract with the sewing partner when you accept their request for quotation.
PRICE
The prices stated on the Website apply to orders placed on the Website. All prices are presented including VAT. The prices do not include payment and shipping fees, which are given separately in the Checkout. Prices are subject to changes.
The Customer can pay for their purchase in the manner specified on the Website. Read more about our different payment options below.
Value-added tax
Prices on the webshop include value-added tax of 25%. Value-added tax is payable on all orders when the customer is a consumer resident in an EU Member State. You can find the total price including delivery fees in the shopping cart.
Freight
The prices given are excluding freight. Freight costs are additional and are paid by you. The freight cost is shown at the checkout.
PAYMENT
DIYTI offer various flexible payment methods with KLARNA and available payment options for each country are displayed at the checkout once you have entered the address & country of delivery. Your card payment is securely handled using the latest security technology available. Payments are handled by Klarna with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. Your delivery note, i.e. receipt, will be sent to you with your order.

DISCOUNT CODES
DIYTI use discount codes as part of marketing. These codes are valid for limited periods and may be subject to conditions. The codes can be limited for use with specific products, categories or fabrics.
Discount codes should be entered during the checkout process to be valid. Only one discount code can be used per order. Attempting to add a discount code after purchase will not be honoured. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, vouchers or similar.
SECURITY
We always offer you a secure payment method. We cooperate with Klarna which meets the PCI DSS requirements. All card details and your personal data are encrypted, which means that only authorized persons can access the information.
RETAILER PRICES
The following paragraph applies only to our retailers and trade customers. Whilst endeavouring to maintain prices, we reserve the right to alter prices without notice. Unless otherwise agreed, the price of the Goods is exclusive of VAT, insurance, transport and any import duties/taxes payable upon delivery to any international delivery destination.
DELIVERY
You will receive a delivery confirmation and tracking number by e-mail as soon as we ship your order.
If your package is smaller than 120 cm it will be delivered to the authorized PostNord pick-up point nearest you, where the package can be picked up during the following 14 days. When the package has arrived, you will receive an SMS message (number specified by you) with pick-up details. For more information about PostNord go to www.postnord.se.
For larger deliveries and deliveries to countries outside Sweden your package will be delivered directly to your specified delivery address with your local delivery partner. Please ensure you choose an address where someone will be able to receive the package Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. When the package is on its way to you, you will receive an email from DIYTI/DHL/UPS with your tracking number and a tracking link. For more information on your delivery please email DIYTI at info@diyti.com.
Transport companies
Smaller pillow and cushion orders are sent with Post Nord My Pack to a distribution point.

The goods will normally be delivered within the time frame specified on the product page on the DIYTI website. Delivery normally takes place on weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm to the nearest gate or driveway for products that are not sent by Post Nord. Please note that the delivery time stated on the website is preliminary. As a customer, you will be notified by the carrier the days before delivery for more information about delivery day and time.
Transport liabilities
DIYTI is responsible for any damage or lost goods during transport to the customer. The customer is responsible for the goods in case of return. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the products are properly wrapped and returned in good condition. If the customer needs new packaging when returning the item, contact info@diyti.com.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
When ordering from a non-EU country the tax is deducted from the total order value. An additional cost will be issued by the customer when it has arrived at the destination. When you buy a product from us from a non-EU country you effectively become an importer and become liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as VAT payments, DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Product prices are exclusive of all taxes and duties in these cases. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. As we are unable to advise the amount this may be, we advise you to contact your local customs office.
GUARANTEE
DIYTI applies the Swedish law on consumers’ right and for use-wear, the guarantee period is two years from the date of delivery. The guaranty covers only defects existing at the time of delivery and does not cover defects or damage caused by the Customer or by any other circumstance which DIYTI is not responsible for.
Please ensure you comply with the following guarantee conditions:
- The products have only been in normal use in a home or boat environment.
- The products have been handled according to our Care Guide. This means washing at given temperatures, not using dryers, bleach or stain removers etc.
- Return shipping costs that may incur will be paid by the customer and all returns will be handled by the delivery partner indicated by DIYTI.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Please have in mind that we cannot guarantee that our photos will reproduce the same true appearance and colour tone of the product. We are doing our best to get as accurate products shots as possible. Note that a slight variation of colour tones may occur between different fabric textures and textile rolls. DIYTI shall have no liability in case of image or typographical errors on the website, inaccurate prices and incorrect information with regards to whether a product is in stock. The customer will be informed in these cases through e-mail.
RETURNS
Some products do not include a right to cancel, or you may lose your right to cancel. Purchase on approval or an exchange right does not apply to custom-made goods. But you may have a right of withdrawal within 5 days from placing the order. You can contact customer service to find out what is applicable.
In isolated cases a product ordered may have been discontinued or it may no longer be possible for us to deliver it for some other reason. If so, we will contact you immediately to discuss a satisfactory solution to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.
If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order from DIYTI webshop, you may exercise your right to return the products, by contacting Customer Service at hello@diyti.com within 14 working days from the date on which you received the products purchased on DIYTI.com. To cancel the contract and return the products you shall use the return form available from our Customer Services.
We expect you to return the product as soon as possible after you have given cancellation notice and no later than 14 days after you have changed your mind.
HANDLING OF RETURNS
You must bear the cost of the return freight yourself.
Pack the product you want to return in its original packaging and, failing that, pack it in such a way that the product will not be damaged during the return transport.
Please note that product returns are sent to DIYTI AB, Brandsvigsgatan 6, SE 262 73 Ängelholm. We cannot accept returns sent to another address. If you use our return labels and have received the product as a DHL parcel, it has to be returned via DHL’s service point, if it is parcel post it has to be returned via Post Nord’s post offices.
We also recommend keeping the receipt from the courier and if applicable the track and trace number. DIYTI must receive the goods within 30 working days of the date you received the parcel.
- Note that Made to measure-products can only be returned if defective.
COMPLAINTS
All customers have 14 days from receiving their order to return or report damaged items. Failure to comply with this return policy will mean that the return is only accepted at our discretion. Please note that it is your responsibility to contact customer service in time for receiving a waybill or other guidelines regarding returns. Items must be returned in mint condition and with all tags still attached. DIYTI has the rights to refuse returns not meeting these requirements or issue a penalty of 150 SEK. Normally, we refund your purchase within 14 days. In individual cases, it may take up to 30 days which is the maximum time according to consumer law.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Under no circumstances shall DIYTI be responsible for any indirect or consequential damages in connection with or arising out of its obligations hereunder.
DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW
These Conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection therewith shall be governed by Swedish law.
FORCE MAJEURE
DIYTI shall not be held liable for breach of the conditions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to explosions, fire, lightning strikes, severe weather, pandemic diseases, war, flood, or labour conflict (regardless of whether or not it involves our employees).
COPYRIGHT
All products and designs belong to DIYTI AB, with the number of registration 559181-1046.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
To fulfil the contract, we are obliged to collect and process personal data. All personal information that vi get from you, DIYTI will have the responsibility of. The information you give on registration, name, address, phone number and e-mail address is registered and processed in order to process your order by DIYTI or forwarding contact information upon your request to sewing partners and to the transport company we use. We only use the data to fulfil the contract.
You may if your personal data is stored by DIYTI AB, request a record of your data held by us, and ask to have it deleted or corrected. You also have the right to submit a complaint to a competent data protection authority (in Sweden called “Datainspektionen”). Your personal data will not be sent to any third parties (except for what is stated above), be transferred to any party in a country outside of the EU or be processed for any other purpose than what has been mentioned above. Information about the company DIYTI and offers, sales, competitions, events as well as other marketing initiatives from its stores and partners.
You also consent to the fact that DIYTI collects, registers and stores the personal information that you have submitted to send you marketing. Further, DIYTI may use your information for statistical and marketing related purposes, as well as third parties who market the above-mentioned products on behalf of DIYTI.
At any time, you are free to retract your consent by contacting DIYTI on info@diyti.com or by using the opt out-option stated in the materials sent to you by DIYTI. Furthermore, you can always ask for more information about what information DIYTI processes about you, and you may always request that the information is corrected, blocked or deleted. Apart from what is described above, DIYTI will not share your information with other companies or any other third party without your consent unless this is required by law, or unless this is necessary in order to perform a service or deliver a product that you have bought or asked for.
